Bringing The Meta Daisies to life
The metaverse offers new opportunities for artists to share their work with a global audience. This opportunity could not be ignored, and so The Daisies team, with their vision to preserve the legacy of rock forever, began a revolution in the music industry.
The Dead Daisies is a rock superpower, made up of some of the most iconic figures in rock history, including former members of Deep Purple, Dio, Whitesnake and Foreigner. Driving the invention of The Meta Daisies were The Dead Daisies guitarist and renowned Australian financial magnate, David Lowy, along with David Edwards, the bands manager and the brains behind Spitfire Music Pty Ltd. The Meta Daisies were born to have cross generational appeal, to stand the test of time and ignite a love for rock music within generation Z.
A team of industry experts was brought together to bring the project to life. David Lowy and David Edwards partnered with leading NFT, web 3.0 and metaverse experts Altergaze (HoverGrease) and Dimoso (Harry Potter, Roblox, Marvel, Angry Birds) to drive the creation of the new band and its ‘Radiance’ music video, working with consultants Thomas Lee (Madison Beer’s avatar, Final Fantasy IX) and Kelly Vero (Tomb Raider, Transformers). Together they formed further strategic partnerships with trailblazing NFT platform Tellie, and the world’s most popular metaverse, Avakin Life, where the band hosted a listening party with over 1.1million visits.
